Heidi Strickler
Former National Director of Children, Adolescents, and Foster Care

Heidi Strickler, PhD, LCSW-S, CEDS-S, CART, CTLS is the National Director of Children, Adolescents, and Foster Care for UnitedHealthcare Community & State where she focuses on the development of strategy and products based on an in-depth understanding of the populations we serve in our Medicaid markets. Populations of focus in her portfolio include the Specialized Child and Youth Program (foster care, adoption assistance, former foster youth, and youth in the custody of the juvenile justice system), children with special healthcare needs, children and youth with serious emotional disturbance, and children and youth receiving TANF or CHIP. She also focuses on school-based health, individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities, and individuals with other types of disabilities. Dr. Strickler serves on the Missouri Eating Disorders Council. She is a certified eating disorders specialist supervisor, an a certified trauma and loss specialist. She holds a doctorate in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington and has been published in the areas of eating disorders, trauma, human trafficking, and intellectual and developmental disorders.
