Sarah Glasheen is the Senior Director of Policy and Strategic Initiatives at UnitedHealthcare Community & State. UnitedHealthcare's community plans proudly serve 6.4 million Medicaid members in 32 states, plus Washington D.C. UnitedHealthcare is a division of UnitedHealth Group (NYSE: UNH) which is a diversified health and well-being company with a mission to help people live healthier lives and help make the health system work better for everyone. In her role, Sarah focuses on developing and operationalizing initiatives related to social determinants of health, with a focus on housing, social service and health screenings and referrals, and related research and analysis. During her 14 year tenure with Community & State, she has developed extensive experience in growth and strategy operations, reporting and analytics, program tracking and evaluation, and research. Prior to her work with Community & State, Sarah held various positions with government, non-profit and research organizations, all with a focus on program management and operations. She holds a Certification in Marketing from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania., M.A. in Geography and Urban Studies from Temple University, and B.S. in Natural Resources Policy and Management from Cornell University.
