Martha Roherty is the Executive Director of ADvancing States (formerly NASUAD) based in Washington, D.C. Prior to ADvancing States, Martha served as the Director of the National Association of State Medicaid Directors helping states navigate through the many transitions in the Medicaid program. In addition, Martha has held various previous positions at The Finance Project, the National Association of State Budget Officers, the National Governors Association, and the National Conference of State Legislatures.
