Key Medicaid design elements

At UnitedHealthcare Community & State, we understand that the future of a value-based approach to Medicaid reform calls for the combined efforts of state policymakers, providers, Managed Care Organizations, and more. In this Perspectives video, we asked the following questions:

  • Which critical elements help ensure the sustainability of the Medicaid program?
  • What is important to consider in moving to value-based payment reform?
  • What role does community-based integration play in the Medicaid system?
