Trisha Houghton

Trisha Houghton is the Director of Population Health & Quality Improvement for the UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Wisconsin serving both Medicaid and Dual Special Needs members across the entire state. Trisha has a background in managing clinical quality requirements for the health plan inclusive of HEDIS, NCQA, STARS, state contractual performance metrics and process improvement. Her past work includes leading both member and provider facing programs to improve clinical outcomes, advance overall member satisfaction and build effective relationships. She is experienced in improving clinical outcomes for underserved populations focused on health disparities, social determinants of health, health equity and housing. Prior to UnitedHealthcare, Trisha worked as a registered nurse in the operating room, home care, utilization review, quality and care management. In addition she managed a large team of foster care visitation workers focused on reuniting families in Milwaukee County. She is currently serving on the Board of Nursing for the MSOE School of Nursing. Trisha holds Bachelor of Science degrees from MSOE in Nursing and Public Relations and Marketing from UW Oshkosh.
