Yazmin Cespedes
Senior Program Manager, Social Responsibility

As a program manager of social responsibility, Yazmin is responsible for executing UnitedHealthcare's mission to increase access to care and address the social determinants of health in communities. By working alongside community partners, Yazmin strives to positively impact the health and well-being of youth, families, and individuals across the nation. In this role, Yazmin is responsible for the strategic oversight and execution of impact and evaluation, and leading Empowering Health grantmaking efforts and employee engagement events in key communities. Before joining UnitedHealthcare in 2019, Yazmin worked in public health research focused on the promotion of healthy eating and active living interventions in communities across the Twin Cities in Minnesota. Additionally, Yazmin worked in program evaluation to equip organizations and communities with data tools to advocate for public health resources and health promotion programming. Yazmin has a Bachelor's of Arts in Community Health and Wellness and a Master's of Public Health from University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, MN.
