Partnering with Florida FQHCs to provide value-based care

Value-based arrangements help us provide the right care, at the right time and in the right setting. Value-based care (VBC) is highly collaborative and provides a lane for us to work with FQHCs and providers to improve the quality of care. Through different care models focused on specific populations, such as maternal care, we can monitor and improve health outcomes and lower the cost of care.

Florida’s Medicaid program is focused on value-based arrangements to improve health outcomes across the state. Hear from Michael Lawton, CEO of the Community Plan of Florida, as he describes the benefits of VBC and how this care model continues to evolve to benefit providers and members.
